Welcome to Södertuna Slott, a grand 18th century chateau/hotel beautifully situated in the Swedish countryside. It stands just outside the small town of Gnesta by the shores of Lake Frösjön about an hour's drive from Stockholm. Our wedding, the reception and the after-party will all take place on the grounds of this gorgeous chateau.
Rooms at the chateau are available from Wednesday July 27 - Monday August 1 at a special wedding rate (see below). With the exception of Saturday, we will be sharing the hotel with the general public. However, we are assured that there will be plenty of space this late in the season. On the evening of the wedding, we have secured the entire venue for wedding and guests and rooms are guaranteed. Given that the festivities will be going quite late, we highly recommend that our guests take advantage of the rooms on Saturday night.
Here is what you need to do in order to secure your room(s):
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating the nights you would like to stay, the number of rooms you will need (max two people per room) and indicate you are with the Morlan Pred wedding. Please do not use the hotel web site or any other booking system to secure your rooms.
More about the hotel
The hotel offers small rooms in the old European style suitable for one or two people. The rooms are virtually all the same and have wonderful views of the lake, the castle park or garden and feature shower and toilet, LCD TV, telephone, radio, hairdryer and wireless internet. All rooms are non-smoking. Breakfast is included for each nights’ stay. (Please note that the very limited number of staterooms have already been reserved for the wedding party.)
Special wedding rates for all rooms are (based on current exchange rates):
Single occupancy: Approximately $115 per night
Double occupancy: Approximately $90 per night/person ($180 total)
All prices include tax.
Check in is at 2PM, but earlier arrivals are possible.

If you would like to stay in the area, but not at the chateau, there are several B&Bs, small hotels and Airbnb options in the area. Stockholm itself is also an option, though, we do recommend the chateau for Saturday night ;-)
